Australian Railway Historical Society

The Tasmanian Division of the Australian Railway Historical Society was formed in 1965, and since then the Tasmanian Division has concentrated on the recording of past and current Tasmanian railway history, through the publishing of a high quality magazine Tasmanian Rail News, its archives and the holding entertainment meetings for members.

These meetings are usually held as arranged in either Hobart or Devonport, and mostly feature slide shows of various topics.

The ARHS also produces the RailTasmania.com web-site.
