The Ida Bay Railway is located at Lune River, 113 km south of Hobart. This 610 mm (2 foot) gauge railway is the southernmost in Australia, and is 6.8km in length.

The railway has now reopened and at time of writing, operates daily except Fridays with 3 to 5 departures per day depending on the time of year.
