It is now over 30 years since the ZC class locos arrived in Tasmania. For a short period these locos dominated train working but their numbers dwindled as traffic declined and the DQ locos arrived. 1314 (ZC15) is unloaded at Bell Bay on 31 October 1988. © Michael Dix Issue: 260

The bulk cement traffic between Railton and Devonport is the largest freight task carried by rail in Tasmania and has probably been the most profitable since the train was inaugurated in 1967. The cement train was unloading at the Devonport silo on 11 February before heading back to Railton for another load. © Steve Williams Issue: 237

It is now over five years since the last vacuum-braked concentrate train ran on the former Emu Bay Railway in March 2002.
